UT Southwestern researcher Kevin Park has long pursued the "holy grail" of regenerative vision science—a fully functional eye transplant that restores sight. Now, with funding from the federal agency ARPA-H, that vision is closer than ever.
Park, a professor of ophthalmology and neuroscience, is leading UTSW’s role in the nationwide initiative, which includes 40 top researchers. The project is supported by ARPA-H’s regional hub at Pegasus Park in Dallas, aiming to revolutionize vision restoration.
