Etira announced that a patient with advanced cancer has remained on its investigational ERX-315 treatment for more than one year in an ongoing Phase 1 clinical trial. The study is evaluating the drug’s safety and tolerability in patients with advanced solid tumors whose cancers no longer respond to approved treatments. Etira said the milestone is encouraging, while noting that the Phase 1 trial is primarily designed to evaluate safety and dosing, and that ERX-315 has not been approved for any use.
