Lantern Pharma announced the creation of Open-Medicine AI, a separate company focused on commercializing and expanding its withZeta.ai multi-agent AI co-scientist platform for drug discovery and development. The new company will build on Lantern’s AI capabilities, including ZetaSwarm™ and ZetaOmics™, to provide researchers and biopharmaceutical companies with AI agents capable of reasoning across complex biological data, designing analyses, and supporting drug-development workflows. Lantern said the separation is intended to give the AI business dedicated funding, specialized talent, and an independent growth path while allowing Lantern Pharma to remain focused on its clinical-stage oncology pipeline.
