Professor Endel Iarve, Director of the Institute for Predictive Performance Methodologies, UT Arlington
University of Texas at Arlington mechanical and aerospace engineering professor Endel Iarve has secured a contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory to conduct virtual testing of composite materials used in aerospace systems.
His research leverages advanced computer models to predict material performance under real-world conditions, enhancing aircraft durability and safety.
Dr. Iarve is collaborating with researchers from the Michigan Institute of Technology, the University of Utah, Columbia University, and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
