Computer science researchers at UT Dallas’ Center for Applied AI and Machine Learning (CAIML) are collaborating with CorroHealth Inc. to advance AI-driven medical coding. CorroHealth’s PULSE Coding Automation Technology leverages large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP) to improve accuracy and efficiency in coding for outpatient and risk-based payer reimbursements. Seeking to move beyond traditional pattern matching, CorroHealth turned to UT Dallas experts to integrate advanced reasoning capabilities, tackling the complexities of medical record analysis.
